We are happy to recognize Micky Cogley as a Shining Star. In the words of the nominator: “Micky wears several hats at Chartiers Center, but mostly within the Recovery Support/Intellectual Disabilities Service Line. On her own initiative, Micky enrolled Chartiers Center in the upcoming NAMI Walk, a fundraiser to support behavioral health advocacy. Not only did Micky take the lead, she volunteered to be team captain, sent out communications to staff and had t-shirts made beautifully naming the team “The Chartiers Center Game Changers”. I know that participation at the walk itself was limited, but I have to give a world of credit to Micky who not only did all of the prep work for the Walk, but actually showed up on a beautiful Sunday representing Chartiers Center. Micky could have said “I don’t even work on the behavioral health side of the agency” OR decided to sleep in on her day off. Instead she followed her passion and we’re proud that she represented Chartiers Center!”
Congratulations and thank you Micky!
