Performer at the Beechview Brew

Art of Recovery Show at Brew on Broadway

Consumers from Chartiers Center’s Transition Program participated in the Art of Recovery Show at BREW on Broadway, a community-run coffee shop in Beechview. The art show was sponsored by Allegheny County Department of Human Services. Consumers were invited to submit artwork that reflected on their personal journey of recovery. The opening of the art exhibit featured live music and artwork from consumers throughout Allegheny County.

This is the second art show that the consumers from Chartiers’ Transition Program have participated in. Exploring their feelings through art has built confidence in our consumers and they look forward to more opportunities.
