Chartiers Community Mental Health and Retardation Center, Inc. is a private, non-profit agency established in 1969 under the MH/MR Act of Pennsylvania. Chartiers Center's team of dedicated Board Members, staff, and volunteers have served the mental health and mental retardation needs of the community for over 40 years and with your support, we will continue to meet the needs of individuals and their families.

One of Chartiers most popular programs provides community activities for teens and adults with mental retardation. Chartiers receives funding from Allegheny County and the Department of Public Welfare. Charges for services are based on a sliding fee scale. We accept most third party insurance. Contributions are always welcome and help support our programs.
