Chartiers Center is grateful for the donations we received through The Pittsburgh Foundation Critical Needs Event. The online giving event will support Chartiers Center’s mental health treatment services which now includes telehealth. To all our returning donors and new friends we say “THANK YOU!”

This Wednesday, August 19, The Pittsburgh Foundation will host a Critical Needs Alert #ONEDAY online giving event. Gifts made to Chartiers Center will support the delivery of mental health services.
As a result of Covid-19, Chartiers Center changed the delivery of treatment services to provide tele-health services to all consumers dealing with a mental health concern. Here is what the consumers using the tele-medicine service had to say about their experiences:
“I am so thankful to still be able to talk to my therapist and stay safe”
“It is a relief not to have to leave my home because I have a compromised immune system and I am so happy to still receive services” and
“You eased my anxiety. Thank you for not making me go outside. I am glad to still be able to talk to my therapist.”
Read our profile to learn more. Visit: http://pittsburghgives.org/chartierscenter.org and consider donating. Gifts made to Chartiers Center during the Critical Needs Alert will be “matched” by prorated incentive funds from The Pittsburgh Foundation.
“The Pittsburgh Foundation” will appear as the vendor next to the charge on your credit card statement. Chartiers Center will acknowledge all donors unless you ask to remain anonymous.
If a donation is not possible please keep us in mind if you, or a friend, is going through a difficult time and needs services or a referral to resources.
