In Celebration MLK Day

Jan 13, 2023

On Monday, January 16, 2023 our corporate offices will be closed in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Our residential programs remain open 24-7, 365 days a year.

When Dr. King formed the Poor People’s Campaign in November 1967, the campaign was built on a simple idea; that all people, regardless of income or background, should have all that they need to live a fulfilling life. At Chartiers Center, we work to make that idea a reality. Through our programs, we help people with mental health issues, developmental disabilities, or addiction work toward living their best life. While our methods differ, that goal always remains the same.

As we continue this work, we do so with Dr. King’s message in mind – that everyone in our community deserves to live a full life.
